Projects

Come check out some of our new projects that are gowing alongside the community!

Urban Earth Farms

Mission: We apply regenerative agriculture practices, cultivate community and inspire education to provide nutritious, locally-produced food and empower all generations to participate in their food security.

Vision: Growing a healthy, food secure world.

Each year, we host an annual plant sale through our greenhouse, where you can support Enright Ridge from our garden to yours. The food we produce at UEF is donated to BLOC Food Pantry and to the volunteer helpers we have with our Work For Food program. We also provide a distribution site for Our Harvest Cooperative CSA, with pickups on Fridays year-round.

Location: 824 Enright Avenue in East Price Hill

We are very excited to be expanding our urban farming operation through our Ice House Project. We are breaking ground on a new half-acre garden located at the corner of Enright and Price Avenues. Vacant for over 30 years, this plot served as an icehouse building in the 1960s. Thanks to the generosity of Keep Cincinnati Beautiful and Price Hill Will, we have purchased 12 fruit trees and over 180 ft worth of raspberry brambles to be planted on the site.

Additionally, this site will host two annual vegetable beds, pollinator, and herb gardens. Further funding for this project is provided through the Greater Cincinnati Foundation and the City of Cincinnati Department of Community and Economic Development.
